MEANING OF LIFE FINAL CHAPTERTHE BIRTH
The author of the biblical book of Ecclesiastes states this feeling when he said, "Meaningless! Meaningless!...Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless." This author had wealth beyond measure, wisdom beyond any man of his time or ours, women in the hundreds, palaces and gardens that were the envy of kingdoms, the best food and wine, and had every form of entertainment available. And he said at one point, that anything that his heart wanted, he pursued. And yet he summed up "life under the sun" (life lived as though all there is to life is what we can see with our eyes and experience with our senses) is meaningless! Why is there such a void? Because God created us for something beyond what we can experience in the here-and-now. Solomon said of God, "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men..."
In Revelation, the last book of the Bible, at the end of many other end-time events, God reveals that He will destroy this present earth and heavens as we know them and usher in the eternal state by creating a new heaven and a new earth. At that time, He will restore the full fellowship with redeemed mankind. Some of mankind will have been judged unworthy and cast in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15). And the curse of sin will be done away with; there will be no more sin, sorrow, sickness, death, pain, etc. (Revelation 21:4). And believers will inherit all things; God will dwell with them, and they shall be His sons (Revelation 21:7). Thus, we come full circle in that God created us to have fellowship with Him; man sinned, breaking that fellowship; God restores that fellowship fully in the eternal state with those deemed worthy by Him.
Meaning of life is a life given over to our Father, a life that before the foundation of the earth was planed out. Gods plan was that He wanted us to spend eternity with Him. Wash of our sin. He can not even be in the present of sin, so He has to wash us from anything that would keep us from fellowship with Him. So our meaning is more of a destination that we are going. From this dimension to His dimension a place of no sin, were perfection is the standard. Our Father is forming us in the womb of the universe into the image of Jesus Christ. Labor pains are started and the birth is close. Contraction are so close in number and our head is entering the birth canal. All things are ready for our delivery into Heaven. This is my meaning of life or birth. Are you ready.. Amen

destroy is the same as melt in the Greek
2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
The words luo {loo'-o}melt..means
to dissolve something coherent into parts, to Destroy
It is the same word in
John 2:19
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

So true! There is no meaning to life when you don't understand that there is a Creator and that He knows you and cares about you.
On a side note: The sickening doctrine of evolution has robbed our young people of meaning and taken all the beauty out of their lives ... a societal ill ... when we don't recognize the Father. It trivializes life and death, right and wrong etc...

I know the one who has the answers, but sometimes I just go blank from shock at the things I hear.
You would think I would get immune since I work in law enforcement but I still hear things I never dreamed of and I still get shocked!
Perhaps God quiets me at times to keep me from making some comment that I shouldn't.

Law Enforcement is the place God has you because He wants to be there in peoples lives. Some times we get so self center that we think that our jobs are just for us . We lose sight of the mission field that He sends us . The way we should be is asking the Lord to give us eyes to see what He wants us to see . Going to work knowing that we are His Priests to do His work. Then when things happen we know its for His Glory....Amen
