HIS POWER PART 3
Ephesians 1:19
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
The power of God is far above any other force, stronger than anything that can be launched against you. So believe Paul's words! This is what the apostle is praying for that you would truly grasp this thought and understand the true power that He offers you.
The answer to fear is power. The moment you feel empowered, fear vanishes. So Paul prayed that the Christians would see the limitless power that was theirs through Christ. The power is available to us all--but we often fail to see it, believe it, and act on it. When we feel powerless, we are quick to give up. The struggle overwhelms us and we just throw in the towel. It is because we have lost sight of the One who gives all power, and whose power was demonstrated at the resurrection, when God raised Jesus from the dead. Remember, resurrection power works best in a cemetery! So how much power do you need! We Love You Jesus....Amen

If the power of one atom can distroy Hiroshima, and there are trillions to the trillionth power of atoms in the universe, and God is more powerful than all of them put together, we cannot even begin to imagine His power!
I'm reminded of Peter walking on water (on faith)...but when he looked down, he lost sight of that power, and that's when fear set in. We need to keep our eyes on Christ.
By the way, thanks for visiting my blog. I can't believe you're from Rochester! I grew up there! I was raised in the town of Spencerport, close to Gates Chili, and I haven't been back there in 15 years. I really miss it. Loved Lilac Park, Country Sweet Chicken Wings and Buckman's Ice Cream!!
Oh I love this post and amen to you Joe too. How awesome that we've been called His children and have access to this amazing power. He is good.
we were just talking about this the other day at the kitchen table. I was saying, we have to remember everything in the visible world came from the invisible, from our creator. I mean if that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us...Wow! What a truth! His kingdom is in the hearts of men. I mean I am fixing to shout here, when I think about what an awesome God He is. Thanks for reminding me, sometimes I tend to lean on my own understanding, which it says not to do in Prov. 3.
